Q: WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED:

GMS requests some personal information on our online forms. When you request to receive a free catalog, we will ask you for your first and last name, company name (if applicable), street mailing address, suite, unit, or apartment, city, state, zip code or postal code, and promptly send you a GMS catalog. When you give us customer feedback, we will ask you for the department you wish to reach, what kind of comment you would like to send, your comments, how we can get in touch with you (first and last name, e-mail address, daytime phone number, and fax number), if you want us to contact as soon as possible, and we will promptly contact you. When you update or correct your information, we ask you for your first and last name, company name (if applicable), mailing address, suite, unit, or apartment, city, state, zip code or postal code, daytime phone number, fax number, e-mail address, and then promptly update or correct your information. When you subscribe to the GMS e-mail list, we ask you for your e-mail address and promptly subscribe you to this list. When you remove yourself from the GMS e-mail list, we ask you for e-mail address and then promptly remove you from this list. When you request a GMS Media CD-Rom, we ask you for your first and last name, company name, street mailing address, suite, unit, or apartment, city, state, zip code or postal code, phone number, shipping method, and promptly send you a GMS artwork CD-ROM. When you download a GMS dealer application, or GMS employment application, we will ask you for a variety of information which will include sensitive personal and financial information. This information is used only for the intended purpose of the form. After you complete the form, it will only be accepted at GMS by fax or mail (not over the Internet). Wherever GMS collects personal information we make an effort to include a link to this Privacy Statement on that page.

Q: HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION:

As a general rule, GMS will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it or under the circumstances described below. Please see the Granatelli Motor Sports' Terms of Service for more detailed information about how your personal information may be shared. We use contact data from our forms to send the user information about our company. Users may opt-out of receiving future e-mail; see the choice/opt-out section below. GMS may, from time to time, send you email regarding our products and services by subscription only. In addition, GMS may occasionally send you targeted direct mail or e-mail (separately or with your order). This direct mail or e-mail may include products and/or services from companies that we feel may be directly related and/or of interest to you (i.e., a subscriber card for Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords Magazine if you own a Mustang). Only GMS (or agents working on behalf of GMS and under confidentiality agreements) will send you these direct mailings and/or e-mailings. We may collect e-mail information only and use this in direct e-mail campaigns and/or share your e-mail with related companies for direct mail/e-mail campaigns for related products. Your information will not be disclosed to those companies included in GMS mailings unless you reply to their offer. GMS does not use cookies. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. However, some links in the GMS site may take you to third party sites which uses cookies. For maximum security, we recommend modifying your browser preferences to reject all cookies and set security at maximum. If you choose to reject all cookies the GMS web site will still maintain its functionality (except for being able to download artwork and PDF files from our site). However, some third party web sites may not work at all. Also, you may want to have a personal firewall software product installed which will provide additional protection against some third party web sites from collecting your personal information. GMS does not sell or rent user information to any third party.

Third Party Data & Data in the Aggregate: Under confidentiality agreements, GMS may match user information with third party data. Also, GMS discloses aggregated user statistics (for example, 90% of our users are male) in order to describe our services to current and prospective partners, advertisers, and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes. Other: GMS may also disclose account information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating Granatelli Motor Sports’ Terms of Service or may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) GMS rights or property, other GMS users, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. GMS may disclose or access account information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it and for administrative and other purposes that we deem necessary to maintain, service, and improve our products and services.

Q: CHOICE/OPT-OUT:

Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving e-mail from us at the point where we request information about the visitor. This site gives users the following options for removing their information from our database to not receive future e-mail. You can be removed from the GMS e-mail list by managing your account which was assigned to you during your subscription signup.

Q: CORRECT/UPDATE:

This site gives users the following options for changing and modifying information previously provided. For your protection, GMS will ask you for data authentication. You must send us a photocopy of your driver's license and a printout of the form with your signature authorizing us to make such changes. You can make corrections or updates to your information.

Return Policy & Warranty

Q: Return Policy

Before you return a product for any reason: Product Replacement, Warranty Exchange, Warranty Claim, Product Return, contact our service department M-F 8AM-5PM (PST) at 805-486-6644 or techsupport@granatellimotorsports.com for a RGA number. No returns are accepted without a pre-approved RGA (Return Goods Authorization). No returns on special orders, electrical items or after 90 days from date of original shipment. All returns are subject to inspection - No Exceptions - to determine thier condition upon return to Granatelli and must be safety packaged in original packaging (if available) and clearly marked with your RGA number on the top and two sides of the box. Please insure your shipment for full replacement value as lost, stolen or items damaged in shipment are not covered by our limited warranty. We recommend using FedEx or UPS for shipping. Lost, stolen or damaged items claims must be made by the customer and resolved by the freight company and not Granatelli Motor Sports. All returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%. The balance will be returned in the form of a credit applied towards another purchase.

All returns are at the expense of the consumer. All shipments are sent FOB Oxnard, CA. As such, all return shipments for inspection and service are the responsibility of the customer. In the event of a warranty or return is deemed appropriate, return shipments could be at the expense of the manufacturer.

Q: Warranty Information

Granatelli Motor Sports warrants that all products sold for street use shall be free from defects in materials and/or workmanship for ninety days from the date of purchase, except in-tank and in-line fuel pumps as these parts carry no warranty expressed or implied. Ignition coil packs and ignition wires purchased directly from Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. or an authorized reseller / distributor have a limited one year warranty from the date of purchase as of May, 5 2014 (05/05/2014). There is no warranty expressed or implied for any products intended for use in racing applications or Custom Applications. Custom Applications are defined as products that are used outside of Granatelli Motor Sports print application guide. The following requirements and exclusions apply:

  1. You must be the original purchaser and must call us to register for an RGA number (805-486-6644 ex: 12; Monday – Friday 8A-5P Pacific Standard Time) and return the defective product within 10 days after the expiration of the product warranty. Failure to do so voids all warranty, either express or implied set forth herein.
  2. You must reside in the United States or Canada and use the product as described in the warranty registration.
  3. The product must not have been altered, disassembled, modified, or converted for any other use than intended by Granatelli Motor Sports.
  4. The product, or any part thereof, is not used in accordance with the operating parameters specified by Granatelli Motor Sports.
  5. The product or any part thereof is damaged or rendered unserviceable due to negligence, vandalism, theft, fire, debris, flood, Act of God, or other peril, malfunction of equipment, or by any cause within the Customer's control.
  6. The serial number (if applicable) must not have been altered or removed. The extent of Granatelli Motor Sports' liability under this warranty shall be limited to the prompt correction or replacement, at Granatelli Motor Sports' option and at no cost to the customer other than return shipment, of any defective part of the product determined to be necessary by Granatelli Motor Sports.

This only applies if written Granatelli Motor Sports received notice of the claimed defect prior to expiration of the warranty period. All warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are expressly excluded. The duration of any and all implied warranties is limited to the duration of this express warranty. All incidental and consequential damages including but not limited to loss profits even if it has been advised of the possibility of such damages are hereby excluded. Regardless of the form of the claim, Granatelli Motor Sports liability for any damages to the customer for such product is limited to the guidelines herein. This stated, expressed warranty is in lieu of all liabilities or obligations of Granatelli Motor Sports for damages arising out of or in connection with delivery, use or performance of the product. This warranty cannot be amended or changed by any Granatelli Motor Sports representative, employee, or agent and any promises inconsistent with this warranty are void and unenforceable against Granatelli Motor Sports. Some states do not allow limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights that vary from state to state. Your sole remedy for the above warranties is the repair or replacement of the defective product only, at Granatelli Motor Sports' sole discretion.


Terms & Conditions of Sales for Retail & Jobber accounts

Q: Initial Order

New and existing Granatelli Motor Sports’ Customers are free to place orders of any size, with no restrictions. Mass Airflow Sensors, Ignition Coils, and/or Cables qualify for an exclusive GMS 90 day guaranteed sale.

Q: Minimums

There are no minimums.

Q: Terms

Cash or Credit Card in Advance also known as C.I.A.

Customer may also send in check or modey order in advance of product shipment. Please wait 10 buisness days to clear.

Q: Pricing

Retail and qualified Jobbers may purchase Granatelli products at current published pricing.

Q: Advertising

Granatelli Motor Sports may provide an advertising allowance based upon certain criteria. Considerations for advertising Co-op include, (but are not limited to); The current volume of business, the quality of proposed advertisements, frequency of ads offering Granatelli products and the placement in certain media publications. Advertising allowances are reflected in percentages and deducted from line items on Granatelli invoices. Co-operative advertising allowances are subject to the following conditions:

  • The Granatelli Motor Sports logo must be displayed in all media advertising where Granatelli products are featured.
  • Granatelli Motor Sports products may not be represented in Company supported advertising (Co-op) where they are offered at less than the current Jobber level.
  • In order to safeguard the interests of Granatelli Motor Sports and protect the integrity of its products, the Company reserves the right to suspend or revoke advertising allowances for just cause, but without notice.

Q: Freight Policy

All shipments are F.O.B. Oxnard, California.

  • “Refused Shipments” are not allowed. Non-acceptance of product shipped from Granatelli Motor Sports will result in a future requirement of “Pre-payment only”.
  • In the unlikely event of a misdirected shipment or an error in order processing, the Distributor must contact Granatelli Motor Sports for return shipping instructions.
  • Retail and Jobber customers are required to report shortages within 48 hours following receipt of goods

Q: Drop Shipments

All Retail and Jobber orders MUST ship to the billing address. The billing address MUST be a physical location and cannot be a P.O. Box. In the event where the order must ship to a different address than the billing address, please contact customer support at 805-486-6644.

Q: Returns Policy

  • Return shipments will not be accepted at Granatelli Motor Sports without a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number.
  • Returned parts must be the same product for which the RGA number was issued.
  • New & unused returns must be in brand new condition & in the original packaging. A restocking fee of 25% will be charged on returned goods.
  • Parts being returned under the provisions of a Granatelli warranty are to be shipped pre-paid and clearly identified by an assigned RGA number.
  • Granatelli Motor Sports will not accept shipments sent C.O.D.
  • The Company does not provide nor otherwise honor billing for reimbursement of prepaid shipping costs.
  • Warranty returns are received on an inspection basis. Granatelli Motor Sports reserves the right to dispose of warranty claims through the issuance of a credit memo, repair & return of goods, or complete replacement of parts at its discretion.

Q: Cancellation And Refund Policies

All canceled Orders will be subject to a 5% Cancellation Fee If Parts are not in stock, Cancelation fees will be waived.

Q: Procedure

Contact Granatelli Motor Sports’ Customer Service Department to obtain an RGA number M-F 8AM-5PM (PST). Include in your package any documentation requested by your Customer Service Representative. Mark the outside of your package clearly on the top and two sides of your box with your assigned RGA number. Insure your shipment for full replacement value as in-transit damage is not covered by our limited warranty.

Orders placed on a Friday after 5 p.m. Pacific Standard, will be processed the following Monday. Our normal business hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Pacific Standard. Orders placed during regular business hours will be processed same day.

Q: What time do I have to place my order by to make sure it goes out the same day?

Orders placed on in-stock items by 11 a.m. Pacific Standard time will be processed and shipped the same day. Orders placed after 11 a.m. Pacific Standard time cannot be guaranteed to go out the same day, but will be processed that day. Orders are shipped twice daily and if not shipped by the afternoon shipment, will ship out during the morning shipment of the following business day.

Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. and our dealers have enjoyed a 47 year prosperous relationship together based on mutual respect and Granatelli's strong industry branding and product lines. We do this by enabling our consumers to purchase top quality automotive products and reasonable pricing. Our customer base has become worldwide. The quality and volume of their shared Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. content, coupled with their enthusiasm for our brand, virally drives awareness and demand for our products.

Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. recognizes that our success is tied to the success of our network of select authorized dealers. We also know that many of our dealers invest significant time and resources to deliver an extraordinary customer experience. We want to protect their ability to do so, while at the same time discouraging price-based advertising that would be detrimental to our dealer's service and support efforts. As a result, Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. has unilaterally established this Minimum Advertised Price (“MAP”) Policy.

Q: Policy Statement

Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc., in its sole discretion, reserves the right to discontinue doing business with any reseller that advertises any product(s) covered by this MAP Policy at a price lower than the MAP.

Q: General Guidelines

  1. The products covered by this policy are outlined and listed on the current Granatelli Pricing Sheet, (“MAP Pricing Column”). Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. may in its sole discretion modify this list from time to time.
  2. Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. recognizes that dealers are free to make their own decisions to advertise and sell any Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. product at any price they choose, without consulting or advising Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. Similarly, Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. will exercise its right to make its own decisions regarding the Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. Authorized Reseller Program (“GARP”), supplemental marketing materials, point-of-purchase displays, product allocation, new product availability, or future promotional, joint marketing, or sponsorship programs.
  3. The MAP Policy applies to advertised prices, not the price at which MAP Products are actually sold or offered for sale to an individual in-store or over the telephone.
  4. Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. believes in maintaining a well regulated and fair marketplace for all its authorized resellers. Please see the FAQ's for more information on the MAP policy and enforcement.

Q: Advertising Guidelines

  1. The MAP Policy applies to all advertisements of MAP Products in any and all media, including but not limited to flyers, posters, coupons, mailers, inserts, newspapers, magazines, catalogs, television, radio, and public signage, as well as Internet sites, social media sites, apps, or any other electronic media.
  2. The MAP Policy does not apply to solely on premise or in-store advertising that is not distributed to customers
  3. It shall not be a violation of this MAP Policy to advertise that a customer may “call for price” or “email for price”, or to use similar language, specifically with respect to Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. Products, so long as no price is listed.
  4. This MAP Policy also applies to any activity which Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. determines, in its sole discretion, is designed or intended to circumvent the intent of this MAP Policy, such as solicitations for ‘group purchases’ and the like.
  5. It shall not be a violation of this MAP Policy to advertise in general that the reseller has “the lowest prices” or will match or beat its competitors’ prices, or to use similar phrases; so long as the reseller does not include any advertised price below MAP and otherwise complies with this MAP Policy.
  6. From time to time, Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. may permit resellers to advertise MAP Products at prices lower than the MAP retail price. In such events, Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. reserves the right to modify or suspend the MAP retail price with respect to the affected products for a specified period of time by providing advance notice to all resellers of such changes.
  7. From time to time Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. may offer a direct manufacturer’s rebate to customers. In such events, it shall not be a violation of this MAP Policy to advertise the availability of the manufacturer's rebate, provided that:
    1. the advertisement includes a MAP-compliant price, the rebate amount, and the net price after manufacturer's rebate in the same type size and style
    2. an asterisk is placed next to the net price after manufacturer's rebate; and **after manufacturer's rebate” appears in the same area of the advertisement as the advertised product.

Q: Bundling Guidelines

  1. “Bundling” or advertising Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. products for sale together with other products will violate this MAP Policy when:
    1. the effective or stated price of the bundle represents a discount of greater than 15% of the MAP
    2. the product(s) bundled with MAP Products violate Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc.'s Intellectual Property rights
    3. the product(s) bundled with MAP Products violate the Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. Trademark and Brand Policy
    4. the product(s) bundled with MAP Products include words, packaging, graphics, or other indicia which may create customer confusion as to the source of the product(s)
    5. the effective or stated discount is greater than 15% of the highest priced item in the bundle
  2. Product(s) bundled with the MAP Products must not, without conspicuous warning, be: technically incompatible
  3. Rebate programs from Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc., whether on MAP Products or Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc.'s partners' products are exempt from this policy.

Q: Policy Enforcement

  1. If a dealer with multiple store locations violates this MAP Policy at any one store location, or on any associated website, then Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. will consider this to be a violation by the dealer.
  2. Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. reserves the right to cancel any pending orders, restrict future orders, or suspend dealers' account if Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. reasonably believes:
    1. a dealer has violated the provisions of this policy
    2. a dealer intends to violate this policy.
  3. Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc.'s MAP Policy Administrator is solely responsible for determining whether a violation of the MAP Policy as occurred, as well as determining appropriate sanctions.
  4. Waivers to this MAP Policy may be granted in Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc.'s sole discretion by the MAP Policy Administrator in writing. Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. Sales, Marketing, or otherpersonnel are not authorized to modify or grant exceptions to the MAP Policy. In the event that the MAP Policy Administrator authorizes a waiver to the MAP Policy, dealers must strictly adhere to the terms of the waiver letter. Deviation from the terms of a waiver letter is a violation of the MAP Policy.
  5. Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. monitors the advertised prices of dealers, either directly or via the use of 3rd party agencies or tools. Dealers are expected to provide reasonable cooperation in any Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. investigations regarding possible MAP Policy violations. Hindering, obstructing, delaying, or otherwise failing to cooperate with a Granatelli Motor Sports, Inc. MAP Policy investigation is a violation of this MAP Policy.

Terms & Conditions Warehouse Distributors

Q: Initial Order

  • New Granatelli Motor Sports’ Warehouse Distributors are expected to place an opening order of not less than $5,000.00.
  • Mass Airflow Sensors that are included in the initial order qualify for an exclusive GMS 120 day guaranteed sale.

Q: Minimums

  • A minimum annual purchase requirement of $12,000 is expected from each warehouse distributor. Failure to meet this requirement may jeopardize the dealer’s WD status.
  • There is no minimum requirement on individual purchase orders.

Q: Terms

  • Applicants for the Warehouse Distributor Program must complete a Granatelli WD Application. (Credit terms, as a method of payment is not offered at this time. A credit card must be on file.)
  • Invoices are expected to be paid in full prior to shipment. Unauthorized adjustments in anticipation of possible credit memos for returned goods are not permitted.
  • Past due invoices are considered delinquent and will result in outstanding orders being placed on “hold”.
  • Account balances that are routinely in arrears will result in the loss of purchase ability under the Warehouse Distributor Program and/or the loss of credit terms through Granatelli Motor Sports.

Requests for return authorization under the Granatelli 120-day guaranteed sale must be accompanied by a one for-one offsetting order. All other stock adjustments require a 2 for 1 offsetting order.

Orders not meeting the minimum requirement are assessed a processing fee of $25.00.

Q: Pricing

Qualified Warehouse Distributors may purchase Granatelli products at current published WD price.

Q: Advertising

Granatelli Motor Sports may provide an advertising allowance based upon certain criteria. Considerations for advertising Co-op include, (but are not limited to); The current volume of business, the quality of proposed advertisements, frequency of ads offering Granatelli products and the placement in certain media publications. Advertising allowances are reflected in percentages and deducted from line items on Granatelli invoices. Co-operative advertising allowances are subject to the following conditions:

  • The Granatelli Motor Sports logo must be displayed in all media advertising where Granatelli products are featured.
  • Granatelli Motor Sports products may not be represented in Company supported advertising (Co-op) where they are offered at less than the current Jobber level.
  • In order to safeguard the interests of Granatelli Motor Sports and protect the integrity of its products, the Company reserves the right to suspend or revoke advertising allowances for just cause, but without notice.

Q: Freight Policy

All shipments are F.O.B. Oxnard, California.

  • Single orders in excess of $5,000.00 are shipped Full Freight Allowed to destinations within the 48 contiguous United States (Alaska and Hawaii excluded).
  • Freight carriers and schedules are at the discretion of Granatelli Motor Sports. Express services & preferred carriers requested by Warehouse Distributors on qualified free-freight orders cause the obligation for freight charges to revert to the Distributor.
  • “Refused Shipments” are not allowed. Non-acceptance of product shipped from Granatelli Motor Sports will result in a future requirement of “Pre-payment only”.
  • In the unlikely event of a misdirected shipment or an error in order processing, the Distributor must contact Granatelli Motor Sports for return shipping instructions.
  • Distributors are required to report shortages within 48 hours following receipt of goods.

Q: Drop Shipments

  • Drop-shipments are limited to 10% (in dollars) of a WD’s monthly purchases.
  • Drop-Ship orders are assessed a $10 fee (in addition to regular shipping & handling charges) on applicable invoices, with the following exceptions:
    1. A drop-shipment is necessary due to an original shipping error on the part of Granatelli Motor Sports.
    2. When, in the opinion of Granatelli Motor Sports, a direct shipment serves the best interests of the end user.

Q: Returns Policy

  • Return shipments will not be accepted at Granatelli Motor Sports without a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number.
  • Returned parts must be the same product for which the RGA number was issued.
  • New & unused returns must be in brand new condition & in the original packaging. A restocking fee of 25% will be charged on returned goods
  • Parts being returned under the provisions of a Granatelli warranty are to be shipped pre-paid and clearly identified by an assigned RGA number.
  • Granatelli Motor Sports will not accept shipments sent C.O.D.
  • The Company does not provide nor otherwise honor billing for reimbursement of prepaid shipping costs.
  • Warranty returns are received on an inspection basis. Granatelli Motor Sports reserves the right to dispose of warranty claims through the issuance of a credit memo, repair & return of goods, or complete replacement of parts at its discretion.

Q: Procedure

  • Contact Granatelli Motor Sports’ Customer Service Department to obtain an RGA number M-F 8AM-5PM (PST).
  • Include in your package any documentation requested by your Customer Service Representative.
  • Mark the outside of your package clearly on the top and two sides of your box with your assigned RGA number. Insure your shipment for full replacement value as in-transit damage is not covered by our limited warranty.

Q: Stock Adjustments

  • Warehouse Distributors are allowed one stock adjustment per year which must be accompanied by a 2 for 1 offsetting order
  • Returned inventory must be new & unused in its original packaging.
  • Stock adjustments must be approved by Granatelli Motor Sports in advance of shipment and must be supported by an offsetting order.
  • Product that is added to RGA designated stock adjustments without authorization will be returned to the distributor.
  • Annual stock adjustments may not exceed 5% of the Warehouse Distributor’s previous 12-month purchases
