Customer Reviews

The reviews on this page come from Granatelli Motor Sports customers through Judge.me, an independent review platform. Reviews marked Verified are matched to a real Granatelli Motor Sports order.

What the numbers are

749 reviews as of October 2026 — 517 about buying from us, 232 about specific parts — averaging 4.9 out of 5, collected through Judge.me. You can read them below, including the critical ones.

We are also reviewed in places we do not control: Google, Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Our Google rating sits lower than the one on this page, and that is worth explaining rather than hiding. We have around 45 Google reviews against 749 here, and when the count is that small a handful of bad experiences moves the average a long way. We are asking customers to review us on Google now so that number reflects the same reality this one does.

What "verified" actually means

After an order ships, Judge.me emails the buyer and asks for a review. When a review is matched to a real order, Judge.me labels it Verified. That label is the thing to look for: it means the person writing it actually bought from us.

If you are working out whether to trust a shop you have not bought from before, ask whether its reviews are attached to real orders and who runs the review process. That is the question that separates a real record from an invented one.

What happens when a part is not right

Sometimes it is not. A cutout arrives and the pipe measures differently than the customer thought. A coil does not fix a misfire because the misfire was never ignition. Occasionally we ship the wrong thing.

When that happens, call the shop on 1-805-486-6644, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Pacific. You will get somebody in Oxnard who knows the parts, because the people answering are in the same building where they are made. We would rather talk to you before you are unhappy in public, and we would rather tell you a part will not help than sell it to you.

Where the parts come from

Granatelli Motor Sports has been manufacturing in Oxnard, California since 1989, in a 42,000 square foot facility with machining, welding, assembly and dyno testing under one roof. More than 10,000 active part numbers, sold direct and through Summit Racing and JEGS.

The parts people review most are the electronic exhaust cutouts, the ignition coils and spark plug wires, the drive-by-wire throttle bodies, and the wastegates and blow-off valves.

Before you buy

Most of the disappointment we see comes from a part being right but wrong for that engine. If you are not certain, read the guides first — what size exhaust cutout you need is the one that saves the most returns — or read the technical articles, which are written by JoJo Granatelli, who races what we build.

Or just call. It is quicker than a return.

Leaving a review

If you have bought from us, you will get an email asking for one once the part has had time to arrive. Say what actually happened. A review that says a part did not suit your build is more use to the next person than one that says nothing.
