This collection includes four thermostats: 160°F (53060S) and 180°F (53080S) for 1998-2024 GM LS engines, and 160°F (53060T) and 180°F (53080T) for 2014-2026 GM LT engines.
A thermostat that sticks or opens at the wrong time can cause overheating, slow warm-up or inconsistent temperatures. Choosing the opening temperature lets you match the cooling system to how you use the vehicle.
How to choose: first confirm whether your engine is an LS (1998-2024) or LT (2014-2026). Then pick the opening temperature. The 160°F thermostat opens earlier; the 180°F option is the higher of the two. If your engine is tuned, check what thermostat temperature your tune expects.
