The Granatelli 306525D manual exhaust cutout kit is the simple, no-electronics way to do it: keep the block-off plate on for the street, and remove it when you want the exhaust open. This dual kit includes a cutout for each side of a true dual exhaust.

Sizing & Fitment

Measure the outside diameter of your exhaust pipe at the mounting point. If it measures 2.5", this kit is the right match. This dual kit is for true dual exhaust systems, one cutout per side. Single exhaust? Choose the single 306525 kit. Can't weld? The 305525D clamp-on version installs with clamps.

Where to Mount It

Mount the cutout at least 18" from the cylinder head and any O2 sensor, and always after the catalytic converters. Point the opening toward the outside of the vehicle, away from fuel and brake lines, so exhaust doesn't collect under the car. For the best sound, mount it after the X-pipe or H-pipe. Because you remove the block-off plate by hand, choose a spot you can reach easily.

Legal Note

Many states, including California, prohibit exhaust cutouts on vehicles driven on public roads. Keep the block-off plate installed on the street and remove it only at sanctioned off-highway events. Never install a cutout upstream of a catalytic converter.
